LED Stripes: For the special atmosphere
The applications for our LED strips are just as varied as our customers’ ideas! Whether as homogeneous indirect lighting or direct lighting for maximum light output. The right lighting directs attention and creates a feel-good atmosphere. In addition to the basic lighting – LED spotlights are ideal for this (!) – you can set individual lighting accents! For example, to highlight your own photo gallery or particularly beautiful objects!
The color selection of the LED strips is entirely up to the customer, we certainly have the right product ready. Whether pleasant warm white (2700K) LED strips – which is widely perceived as cozy, pleasant light, or classic neutral white (e.g. 4000K). We also have cool white LED strips (6000K) – which are often used to accentuate contrasts – in our portfolio.
And if you can’t/won’t decide, our Tuneable White LED strips are the perfect solution. They impress with their easy color adjustment between 2700K and 6000K. For example, you can simply set the color tone more towards neutral/cold white for more concentrated activities and to warm white for relaxing. Of course, we also have RGBW LED strips in our range. With the basic colors (red, green, blue), almost all colors of visible light can be created using additive color mixing. Brilliant lighting moods are therefore guaranteed. The additional white LED can not only be used to adjust the color saturation, but also provides enough white light if no color accentuation is required.
LED strips in living spaces
LED strips have long been used for more than just effective ambient lighting in the living room. They are finding their way into almost all rooms in the home! For excellent visibility in the kitchen (where our high color rendering index >90 is particularly appreciated), for example as under-cabinet lighting or as indirect lighting to deliberately catch the eye of guests. The bathroom is increasingly becoming an oasis of well-being. Appropriately designed lighting scenes help us to relax. Our LED strips – together with LED spotlights – are used here for both basic lighting and charming accent lighting. For special requirements, we have LED strips with increased IP protection 68 in our portfolio.
Even as functional lighting, the versatile LED strips are used time and again. For example, white LED strips with a lower light output are often used for shelf and box interior lighting. Thanks to their simple installation, they are also ideally suited for this purpose. To provide you with the best possible support, take a look at our tutorial: LED strip installation. It will not only tell you everything you need to know about perfect mounting, but will also give you lots of valuable tips and tricks!
What to look out for when buying LED strips?
Good quality, of course! But we would like to explain in more detail what is meant by good quality:
- The color rendering index (CRI): This indicates the percentage of colors that are reproduced correctly and naturally. The majority of our competitors have chosen a CRI of 80 for themselves. Emilum is not satisfied with this! That's why we offer our LED strips with a CRI of more than 90!
- LED strips should be as efficient as possible! The poorer the efficiency, the more energy is converted into heat, which is reflected in the electricity bill at the end of the day. That's why we attach great importance to efficiency when selecting LEDs and their control electronics
- Customizable lengths: LED strips should be easy to cut into smaller sections (in our case, scissors are sufficient). However, if you cut them too short and don't want to use a soldering iron, that's no problem. We offer connectors for easy extension of the LED strips.
- Service life: To achieve the longest possible service life, attention must be paid to many parameters. Starting with the installed electronics, through to the adhesive tape used. Otherwise, proper heat dissipation is no longer guaranteed.
LED strips in a preset color. This cannot be changed. Customers usually opt for a warm white version. Of course, white strips can also be dimmed.
The more the light is dimmed, the warmer the color temperature becomes, up to super-warm white (similar to candlelight or a campfire)
like Dim to Warm, but the color temperature and brightness can be controlled separately. The technology requires an additional dimming channel for this.
with additive color mixing almost limitless combinations of colors possible, for creative and unique lighting solutions.
Cut Anywhere LED-Stripes
Conventional LED strips have predetermined cutting marks, which are often only present every 5 to 10 centimeters. This means that you cannot always cut the strip exactly to the desired length, which can be particularly problematic for precise projects or irregular surfaces. In addition, unlit areas or uneven light distribution can occur after cutting, especially if the strip is shortened in unintended places.
Cut-Anywhere LED strips, on the other hand, allow you to cut the strip at almost any point. This offers maximum flexibility, whether you want to install it around corners, edges or in complex shapes. Cut Anywhere LED strips are designed so that the light quality and distribution remains uniform even after cutting. This means you can enjoy continuous illumination without dark spots or compromising on aesthetics.
For projects that require customized solutions, Cut-Anywhere LED strips are the optimal choice. Whether for residential, commercial or special design requirements, these strips offer the flexibility you need to realize your vision without limitations.

Are you looking for dimmers for LED strips? Then you’ve come to the right place. PWM dimmers are the tried and tested means of creating lighting scenes. 24V LED strips are the most commonly used, but our LED strips are also suitable for 12V and 48V LED strips.
We also offer both DALI and DMX dimmers, so it’s up to you how you dim your LED strips.
